Sandra Sàrrias is an actress, writer and filmmaker. She obtained a Degree in Ballet by the Royal Dance of London. Later, she obtained a Degree in Art History by the UAB University (specialized in Modern Art and Cinema), and a Master’s Degree in Communication by the UdG University. As an actress, she began studying at Eòlia in Barcelona, and also adding other acting workshops like viewpoints, physical theatre, acting monologues and acting scenes at the Sala Beckett in Barcelona. She trained on Shakespeare too at the Teatre Akademia in Barcelona, and she has a close relationship with the Cours Florent, theatre and film school in Paris, doing a stage of theatre and cinema. She also studied the Strasberg method at the prestigious Lee Strasberg school in New York.

In 2009 she founded the entity Prôcessus Creatius with which she developed her professional career. She is a candidate for a best revelation actress of the Goya Awards for the film Soneto nocturno. She is also the leading role in the films Amor blanc, Sota una nit d'estels and Sandra, (Un film dans les rêves). She has made, as an actress and creator, a dozen short films, videos and artist interviews for M1TV, having the opportunity to talk and shoot with film directors such as José Luís Guerín, Vicente Aranda, Isaki Lacuesta, Basilio Martín Patino and Francisco Regueiro, among others.

She has performed shows and cultural projects for the MACBA Museum and the Vila Casas Foundation. She has also written and directed theatre as Notas de amor and has danced for many years at the TEATRE MONUMENTAL, performing numerous musicals and ballets.

Sandra, studied the Master’s Degree in Literature and Thought at UPF University of Barcelona besides. She has written screenplays for TV and film, and she has published the books: El Viatge and L'altra Cleòpatra.
